India me mobile users ka ek common problem hai — unknown calls, spam calls aur fraud calls. Kabhi bank ke naam par, kabhi loan ke offer ke naam par aur kabhi lottery ke bahane logon ko confuse kiya jata hai. Isi problem ko solve karne ke liye TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) ek naya system lane ja raha hai, jiska naam hai CNAP (Calling Name Presentation).

Is naye feature ke aane ke baad, jab bhi aapke phone par koi call aayegi, sirf number hi nahi balki call karne wale ka naam bhi screen par dikhai dega — wo bhi bina kisi extra app ke.


CNAP Kya Hai? (Calling Name Presentation)

CNAP ek network-based built-in Caller ID system hai jo directly mobile network ke through kaam karega. Ab tak hota kya tha — jab koi unknown number call karta tha, to sirf number dikhai deta tha. Naam jaanne ke liye hume Truecaller jaise third-party apps par depend rehna padta tha.

Lekin CNAP ke saath aisa nahi hoga. Is system me:

  • Caller ka registered naam

  • Jo naam uske mobile number ki KYC ke time submit kiya gaya tha

Wahi naam directly receiver ke phone par show hoga. Sabse badi baat: Iske liye kisi bhi third-party app ko install karne ki zarurat nahi hogi.


CNAP Kaise Kaam Karega?

CNAP ka working process kaafi simple aur secure hai:

  1. Jab koi aapko call karega

  2. Aapka mobile network operator (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, etc.)

  3. Apne database se caller ki KYC verified details check karega

  4. Aur caller ka naam aapke phone tak bhej dega

Iska matlab ye hua ki call pick karne se pehle hi aap jaan paoge ki kaun call kar raha hai — real person, company ya spam caller.



📅 CNAP Kab Launch Hoga India Me?

Government aur telecom reports ke according:

  • CNAP ka trial phase kuch selected regions me already start ho chuka hai

  • Nationwide rollout 2026 tak complete karne ka plan hai

  • Pehle phase me ye feature 4G aur 5G networks par available hoga

Jaise-jaise testing successful hoti jaayegi, waise-waise isse aur regions me expand kiya jayega.



CNAP Kyun Zaroori Hai?

Aaj ke time me India me:

  • Spam calls

  • Fraud aur scam calls

  • Fake loan offers

  • Lottery aur prize scam calls

Bahut tezi se badh rahi hain.

CNAP ka main objective hai:

  • ✔️ Fake aur fraud calls ko pehchanna
  • ✔️ Users ko call uthane se pehle correct information dena

  • Agar koi user nahi chahta ki uska naam dusron ko dikhai de

  • To wo apne telecom operator ke paas CNAP Opt-Out request kar sakta hai

Matlab CNAP optional feature hoga, koi zabardasti nahi.



Kya Ye Feature Sabhi Mobiles Me Kaam Karega?

Shuruat me kuch limitations hongi:

  • 2G network par ye feature available nahi hoga

  • Purane feature phones me support limited ho sakta hai

  • New smartphones, 4G aur 5G devices par pehle rollout hoga

Future me ho sakta hai ki isse aur networks tak extend kiya jaaye.
